9/11/01 Artist Book
Client: Myself Everyone remembers this day, the images are seared in our memory. I was just one of many trying to make sense of it all. I was disturbed by the fact that the images were being used over and over while the individual stories of that day was being lost. I wanted to create a record of the first hand accounts. I wove them together to create a narrative of the events. The text starts at the top of the page with the passengers on the plane. The text on the middle of the page are the people in the buildings. The text on the bottom of the page are the rescue workers and onlookers. The cover is metal and it is metal wire–o bound. Completed April 2002. |
