Getting to Know Me

I started out in the non-profit world as an HIV/AIDS educator for CAPE and Planned Parenthood. I gained experience with grants and community organizing. While I loved my job, I felt I had a different path to making a difference.

I went back to school to earn my BFA in graphic and web design. I worked as a designer in a small advertising agency, owned my own business, and eventually ended up in the corporate world. Along the way I gained skills in marketing and branding. 

In 2014, I made a decision to leave the corporate world and return to design that had a broader positive impact on my community. This is what my business, Creative Breath, is all about. I want to help non-profits accomplish their mission and engage the community. I want to help local businesses thrive to create a prosperity in our community. I want to help artists gain exposure and be valued for their work.

POSITIVE IMPACTS

I believe community is important so I donate my time and services to two local organizations that I feel strongly about, the Beacon Hill Garden Club and the VAT. They are keeping me pretty busy so I am not accepting any other pro bono projects at the moment.

50% participation in the City of Seattle Green Up program for my business energy needs.

All of my projects are seen through the lens of how to minimize the environmental impact whether by choice of paper, printing, or even eliminate printing if there is a digital alternative.
