Getting to Know Me
I started out in the non-profit world as an HIV/AIDS educator for CAPE and Planned Parenthood. I gained experience with grants and community organizing. While I loved my job, I felt I had a different path to making a difference.
I went back to school to earn my BFA in graphic and web design. I worked as a designer in a small advertising agency, owned my own business, and eventually ended up in the corporate world. Along the way I gained skills in marketing and branding. In 2014, I made a decision to leave the corporate world and return to design that had a broader positive impact on my community. This is what my business, Creative Breath, is all about. I want to help non-profits accomplish their mission and engage the community. I want to help local businesses thrive to create a prosperity in our community. I want to help artists gain exposure and be valued for their work. JUST THE FACTS
